COACHING GUIDES
Welcome To
Your Coaching Guide
This guide is intended for moments when you know there is something you want to accomplish, yet you keep getting sidetracked, losing your drive, delaying it, or discovering that the goal never quite comes into being.
It will help you look below the surface of a single goal and examine what you truly want it to provide.
Begin with one goal that matters to you, answer the questions truthfully, and allow yourself time to see what starts to come forward.
TAKE YOUR TIME
Slow and steady
You do not need to figure out every objective in your life all at once. Begin with a single goal that matters to you, especially one you have had trouble moving forward on. It could be something you tend to delay, repeatedly lose interest in, or have attempted several times without reaching the point you want. As you go through the guide, keep that one goal in mind.
Notice what you think accomplishing it would provide. Then, for each response, ask what that would signify for you in return. You may discover that the goal itself is just the outer layer, and that beneath it lies something more significant, such as freedom, security, confidence, purpose, or self-expression.
The point is not to pin down a flawless answer. It is to understand what you truly want well enough to make better decisions about where your time and energy go. Some responses may come quickly; others may require more time. Move at your own pace, stay truthful with yourself, and come back to the exercise whenever it helps.
I remember hearing and amazing quote once
“The mind is like a parachute… it won’t work unless its open”
Paul Ryder
