COACHING GUIDES
Welcome To
Your Coaching Guide
This guide helps you recognise six emotionally manipulative behaviours, understand why certain people trigger you more than others, and begin to see your choices more clearly.
Take your time with it. Notice what feels familiar, and only continue if you feel safe. If someone poses a risk to you, seek advice from the appropriate service or authority.
TAKE YOUR TIME
Slow and steady
There is no need to untangle every challenging relationship all at once.
Begin with a single exchange that left you feeling puzzled, uneasy, or more triggered than usual. Use that situation as your reference point while moving through the guide, and note which of the six behaviours, if any, you identify.
Think about what the other person said or did, how it affected you, and how you reacted. You do not need to determine their intention in order to treat your experience as valid.
The goal is to make the interaction clearer and to think about what options are open to you. Some points may make sense immediately; others may require time. Come back to the guide whenever it is helpful, and proceed only if you feel safe to do so.
I remember hearing and amazing quote once
“The mind is like a parachute… it won’t work unless its open”
Paul Ryder
