These Terms & Conditions apply to services and products provided by Paul Ryder Coaching, including one-to-one therapy and coaching, online courses, workshops, group training, speaking engagements, downloadable resources and other related services.

By purchasing, booking or using a product or service from Paul Ryder Coaching, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with any additional terms provided at the point of booking or purchase.

One-to-One Therapy and Coaching

One-to-one sessions are provided at the agreed date, time and location or through the agreed online platform.

The length, frequency and nature of sessions may vary depending on the arrangement agreed between Paul Ryder Coaching and the client.

Therapy and coaching are collaborative processes. While every reasonable effort is made to provide a professional and useful service, specific personal, psychological, financial, professional or other outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

One-to-One Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange a one-to-one session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or sessions that are missed without notice, may be charged at the full session rate because the appointment time has been reserved specifically for you.

Where exceptional circumstances arise, Paul Ryder Coaching may exercise discretion regarding cancellation charges.

If Paul Ryder Coaching needs to cancel or rearrange a session, reasonable efforts will be made to offer an alternative appointment. You will not be charged for a session cancelled by Paul Ryder Coaching.

Online Courses and Digital Products

Online courses and digital products may include video lessons, written materials, downloadable resources, exercises, workbooks or other educational content.

Unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase, online-course purchases provide access for the period described on the relevant sales page. Where a course is sold with lifetime access, this means access for as long as Paul Ryder Coaching continues to operate and make that course reasonably available.

Course content may occasionally be updated, amended, reorganised or improved. This does not affect your right to access the substantially equivalent course content you purchased.

14-Day Cancellation Period for Online Purchases

Where applicable under UK consumer law, you may have the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days of entering into the contract.

Because online courses and other digital products may be supplied immediately after purchase, you may be asked during checkout to expressly consent to receiving the digital content immediately and to acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel may be lost once supply of the digital content has begun.

Where digital content has not yet been supplied and a statutory cancellation right applies, you may contact Paul Ryder Coaching within the applicable 14-day period to request cancellation.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Course Access

Course access is provided to the individual purchaser and is for personal use unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing.

Login details, course materials, videos, downloads and other course content must not be shared, copied, resold, distributed or made available to other people without written permission from Paul Ryder Coaching.

Paul Ryder Coaching reserves the right to suspend or withdraw access where there is reasonable evidence of unauthorised sharing, misuse, copying or distribution of course materials.

Payments

Payments may be made by bank transfer or through payment services including ThriveCart, Stripe and PayPal.

Prices will be displayed or agreed before purchase or booking. Unless otherwise stated, payment is required in accordance with the terms shown at checkout, on the invoice or within the relevant booking agreement.

Where instalment payments are offered, the customer remains responsible for completing the agreed payment schedule.

Organisational Training, Workshops and Speaking

Training, workshops, keynote speaking and other organisational services may be subject to an individual proposal, quotation, booking confirmation or written agreement.

Where there is any conflict between these general Terms & Conditions and a separately agreed written contract or proposal, the separately agreed terms will take precedence for that booking.

Confirming Organisational Bookings

An organisational booking is not considered confirmed until the agreed deposit or full payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The remaining balance must be paid by the date stated on the invoice, proposal or booking agreement.

Paul Ryder Coaching may decline to reserve or continue holding a date where the required deposit or payment has not been received.

Organisational Cancellations

Once a booking has been confirmed, time may have been reserved specifically for the organisation and other work may have been declined for that date.

Unless different terms are agreed in writing, the following cancellation terms will normally apply:

For cancellations made more than 30 days before the agreed delivery date, the booking deposit may be retained to cover the reserved date, administration and reasonable losses associated with the cancellation.

For cancellations made within 30 days of the agreed delivery date, up to 50% of the agreed total fee may become payable.

For cancellations made within 14 days of the agreed delivery date, up to 100% of the agreed total fee may become payable.

Any cancellation charge will be applied reasonably and proportionately, taking into account the circumstances of the booking, work already undertaken, costs incurred and the ability to replace the cancelled work.

Postponement of Organisational Bookings

Where an organisation needs to postpone an event rather than cancel it, Paul Ryder Coaching will make reasonable efforts to transfer the booking to another mutually suitable date.

Any transfer will be subject to availability and may be subject to additional costs where significant work, travel arrangements or expenses have already been incurred.

Travel and Additional Expenses

Where travel, accommodation, venue costs or other expenses are required for an event or service, these may be charged in addition to the agreed professional fee where this has been stated in the proposal, quotation or booking agreement.

Where non-refundable travel or accommodation costs have already been incurred following confirmation of a booking, those costs may remain payable if the booking is cancelled or postponed.

Educational and Therapeutic Content

Courses, workshops, articles, videos, downloads and other general educational materials provided by Paul Ryder Coaching are intended for educational and informational purposes.

They are not a substitute for personalised medical advice, diagnosis, psychiatric care, emergency mental-health treatment or individual therapeutic support where this is required.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, online courses, training materials, videos, presentations, workbooks, downloads, written materials and other resources produced by Paul Ryder Coaching remains the intellectual property of Paul Ryder Coaching.

Purchasing a course or service gives you permission to use the materials for your own personal or agreed organisational use. It does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.

Materials must not be reproduced, sold, licensed, distributed, uploaded, shared publicly, used to create competing products or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

Website Information

Paul Ryder Coaching aims to ensure that information on this website is accurate and reasonably up to date. However, website content may occasionally contain errors, omissions or outdated information.

We may change, update or remove website content, products, services, prices or availability where reasonably necessary.

Third-Party Services and Links

The website and services may contain links to or make use of third-party platforms, payment processors, video services, communication tools or other external services.

Paul Ryder Coaching is not responsible for the availability, security, content or practices of independent third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

To the extent permitted by law, Paul Ryder Coaching will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of general educational materials, website content or services where those losses were not reasonably foreseeable.

You remain responsible for decisions and actions you take following the use of educational, coaching or training materials provided by Paul Ryder Coaching.

Events Outside Our Control

Paul Ryder Coaching will not be responsible for delays or failure to provide a service where this results from circumstances reasonably outside our control.

This may include serious illness, transport disruption, extreme weather, venue closure, internet or technology failure, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.

Where reasonably possible, an alternative arrangement, date or method of delivery will be offered.

Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection legislation.

Changes to These Terms

Paul Ryder Coaching may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to services, business practices or legal requirements.

The terms applying to a particular purchase or booking will generally be those in effect when that purchase or booking was made, together with any specific terms agreed separately.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these terms affects any legal rights you may have as a consumer regarding the courts or jurisdiction applicable to you.
